Our client is a European medical device company active in the field of interventional cardiology specialized in improving the clinical outcome of patients with impaired cardiac function. The company has developed a unique proprietary technology which aims to significantly reduce heart failure in patients who have suffered an acute infarction.

In order to strengthen his European operations, he is looking for a SENIOR HR MANAGER (m/f)

His/her main responsibility will be the coordination and execution of all HR & payroll matters for multiple countries.

The position holder will report to the CFO.

    Main responsibilities

    • Supervise recruitment & hiring process on 2 continents (EU & US):
      • Draft job descriptions
      • Interact with recruitment firms, post job positions on social medial and recruitment platform.
      • Sourcing of candidates, serving as the first-line contacts for screening candidates
      • Supervise interview process
      • Draft offer & employment agreement
    • Administrative management of HR:
      • Onboarding / departure
      • Headcount related insurances
      • Management of absences
      • Participate to definition of benefits: company cars, medical insurances, bonuses, stock-options.
    • Employees & Managers support: You are the first point of contact for employees and managers for all individual matters, questions, or concerns. You provide guidance and advice.
    • HR Procedures / admin: You ensure that all HR procedures are followed and kept up to date.
    • Training: You collect the training needs and organize the annual training schedule according to the needs and the budget. You manage the registrations and subsidies.
    • Performance evaluation: You coordinate and follow the entire evaluation process, from the evaluation meeting & documents to the increase process.

    Required Profile

    • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent through experience.
    • 10 years’ experience in a comparable role, with international exposure preferably in a startup environment / fast growing organization (scale-up).
    • Very good knowledge of HR management.
    • Excellent command in French and English. Good knowledge of any other language is an asset.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills in an international environment.
    • Hands-on, team player with a strong attention to detail.
    • Problem solving mindset, pro-active attitude, and capable to work with autonomy.
    • Flexible and strong ability to adapt to change.
    • Able to manage multiple tasks & responsibilities.
