A strict regional legal framework
In Wallonia, the activity of placement agencies is governed by the Decree of April 3, 2009, regarding the registration or accreditation of placement agencies, and its implementing order of December 10, 2009. In Brussels, it falls under the Ordinance of July 14, 2011, on the mixed management of the labor market. In both cases, only accredited firms are legally authorized to operate — a filter that not all market players pass.
