Can I apply if I don't meet all the criteria? Read the job description and the employer's criteria carefully before submitting your application. These elements are not indicative—they reflect a real and specific need. If you do not meet the majority of the criteria, we recommend waiting for an opportunity better suited to your profile. A relevant application has far more value than a systematic one.
Your CV—What Really Matters...
Should my CV be short? Your CV may be detailed if your education and experience warrant it. What matters is that each position describes what it actually entailed: concrete responsibilities, teams or budgets managed, types of challenges resolved. A title alone says nothing. Ensure a clear chronology, maintain a polished presentation, and avoid redundancies. Quality and precision take precedence over length.
What makes a good job description in a CV? Beyond the listed responsibilities, mention the context in which you worked—size of the organization, sector environment, specific challenges—and the results achieved. This level of detail enables our consultants to build an accurate picture of your background and to advocate for your candidacy with precision to the employer.
The Cover Letter—An Asset Not to Be Overlooked
Is it really useful to write one? Yes—and it often makes the difference. A well-written cover letter allows you to contextualize your application, explain why this position interests you, and how your background is relevant to this specific role. It should not repeat your CV—it should complement it. A generic letter is often counterproductive. Take the time to write one specific to each opportunity you pursue.
How to Apply?
Through which channel should I submit my application? Use exclusively the form linked to the job posting, following the upload instructions provided. Each opportunity has a dedicated form that guides you through the submission of your documents—CV, cover letter, and any additional materials. Applications sent via direct email or other channels cannot be processed under the same conditions.
The Selection Process—What Happens Next...
What happens once my application is submitted? ExpertSelect ensures personalized processing of each application. Here are the steps in the process:
- Application Review—Your application is examined by our HR consultants. If your profile matches the assignment criteria, you will be contacted for an initial interview with ExpertSelect.
- File Preparation—Following this interview, a complete profile is prepared and submitted to the client employer.
- Client Interviews—If the employer considers the profile relevant, the interview cycle continues according to their own procedure, in coordination with ExpertSelect.
- Offer and Negotiation—If selected, the employer makes an employment offer with a compensation package. ExpertSelect supports both the candidate and the client throughout the negotiation, until final acceptance.
Will I be informed if my application is not selected? We make every effort to inform each candidate of the outcome of their application. Processing time depends on the volume of applications received and the assignment timeline.
Your Personal Data—Transparency and Compliance
How is my data used? The selection process is conducted by ExpertSelect's HR consultants, with the support of IT tools—always under human supervision. We strictly comply with applicable regulations, including GDPR and the AI Act.
Is my data shared with third parties? Your personal data is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent. By submitting your application, you agree that your data may be shared with ExpertSelect and with the specific client who has engaged us for the relevant assignment—solely for that assignment. It is neither sold nor reused for other purposes.
